Proto PMR Scythe Trigger
Prostar Paintball and Warped Sportz have teamed up to bring you the latest edition to the "Violent Series" of triggers for the Proto RAIL. This trigger is made of Acetron so it is very light weight so it has that "snappy" feel and is very responsive. With permission from Jason at Techna Trigger, we have incorporate many of the features that are unique to Techna Trigger designs. The ball bearing pivot uses dual specialized flanged bearings with extended inner rings. The bearing flanges ensure that no matter how many cycles, or how hard the use, the trigger body will NEVER "walk" off of the bearing to bind on the sides of the grip frame. The extended inner rings work to position the trigger body precisely within the frame so that at no point in its travel is the trigger permitted to rub the frame. Cycle after cycle, use after use, the bearings remain centered in the frame, and the trigger body centered in the bearings. This trigger incorporates a drop in and bolt in place, "digit" pivot pin. This pivot pin will allow you to install and remove the trigger without the fear of damaging the frame or the bearings through hammering. The pin simply pushes through frame and bearings with slight thumb pressure, and is then secured with a small button head screw. There are adjustments for post and pre travel making it easy to dial in the trigger feel.
Here is what you get:
- Complete installation instructions
- Made of Acetron
- Dual bearings with extended inner rings installed
- Precision "Digit" pivot pin assembly
- Pre and post travel adjustments
- .050 allen wrench

New Ego 07
Ego 7 Technical Innovations
The Ego7 sees the culmination of many months of design, experimentation and testing in the smallest, lightest Ego that Eclipse have ever produced. Not just a new milling job and some new anodised fancy colours, the Ego7 has undergone a complete re-design and re-build from the ground up. Almost every component of the Ego7 has been improved to either increase performance, reduce size and weight, improve user-maintenance, improve reliability, or just make it plain better looking.
But it is not just new mechanical components that you will find in the 07, but new electronic innovations as well. For example there is a completely new solenoid valve system, as well as new drive circuitry that have been implemented in order to achieve superior cyclic consistency and speed.
Solenoid Valve
For the first time in an Eclipse gun we are using a true “Direct-Acting” solenoid. What this means in terms of performance is that the solenoid pulse is far more consistent, far faster, and far more accurate than a more conventional pilot-operated solenoid valve.
Most solenoid valves used in paintball work off a “Pilot” system. They rely on air pressure supplied by the LPR to drive the spool inside the solenoid valve backwards and forwards. Any deviation in LPR pressure will ultimately effect the speed, duration and accuracy of the actuation of the spool. And because the actuation of the solenoid valve spool is what determines the actuation of the rammer and the valve, you can see that any variation in the pulse from the solenoid valve will ultimately effect velocity, accuracy and cycle speed.
However, in a direct-acting solenoid valve the action of the spool is controlled solely by the electromagnetic coil, and a return spring. So no matter what the pressure and recharge rate of the HP or LPR supply, the solenoid spool will always actuate fully, extremely accurately, and for exactly the same duration every time, giving the whole firing cycle the very best platform from which to achieve the highest possible velocity consistency. And consistency gives accuracy!
But the performance benefits do not stop there. Because the solenoid valves electro-magnetic plunger acts directly onto the spool, and the spool is then returned to its start position by a spring, it means that the actuation of the spool is faster in both the energising and de-energising parts of the cycle. That means the solenoid, and hence the air supply to both sides of the rammer is quicker than a more conventional pilot-operated valve.
The reason direct-acting solenoid valves are not widely used in paintball is because they inherently use more electrical power. It is electromagnetic force doing all the work to drive the spool rather than air power in other valves. But by utilizing a completely new method of actuating and driving the solenoid, Eclipse have managed to get the same long battery life out of this new direct-acting solenoid as you could expect out of the lesser performing pilot-operated solenoid valve. The new electronics allow more accurate and efficient drive of the solenoid coil over a far wider range of supply voltage from the battery. We have managed to achieve the impossible by getting big performance gains at the cost of no additional power usage.
Circuit Board
Electronically the Ego7 also offers another paintball first. Over the last 2 years we have noted the split between players who prefer an optical trigger switch, and those that prefer the more conventional and comforting “click” that you only get from a micro-switch. Rather than asking one group or another to have to buy an “upgrade” board just in order to get their preferred trigger actuation mechanism (and have to lose the functionality and ease-of-use of the Ego LCD at the same time) we thought it was only fair that the Ego7 included BOTH trigger actuation systems as standard on the board. The Ego7 can be configured to run off either the optical switch OR the micro-switch. Simply select the desired trigger operation in the software and set your trigger accordingly. The electronics will then automatically set the corresponding level and type of Debounce for the system selected.
Multiple Preset ramps modes, plus fully customizable Ramp modes with either adjustable cap up to 25 BPS or Fully Uncapped are standard. NPPL, PSP, Millennium modes are preset to make sure you are fully league compliant, or adjust and customise any mode to suit your requirements. Of course ROF indicators, shot counter and game timer are also there, and navigation is made even easier with the inclusion of fully animated Gifs to guide you along.
Trigger
With the addition of a dual-triggering system comes an all-new dual ball-raced trigger mechanism. Unlike most bearing trigger designs where the bearing is simply glued into the trigger, the Ego7 utilizes a separate bearing carrier mounted into the frame, and like previous Egos, the trigger pin clamps directly to the trigger. This gives a very wide axial spread of the side-to-side pivoting action of the trigger, leaving no slop, just a silky smooth action.
The new trigger combines a magnetic return for those using the optical trigger switch, or a choice of micro-switch spring and magnet for those wanting the click of the switch. And obviously switch activation, pre and post trigger travel and magnetic return strength are all adjustable directly in the face of the trigger. No need to drop the gun apart to make any adjustments.
Frame
The new frame now flows and moulds with fluid lines to the bottom of the main body. This not only allows for smaller, tighter packaging of the internals, but also allows the top of the hand to move up, closer to the axial line of the barrel and bolt. This makes the gun feel much more “pointy” as the hand comes closer to the sighting-line of the barrel. The new trigger guard is large enough for either two very big, fat fingers, or for the now widely-used three-finger technique. And to further add to the ease of shooting the 07, the trigger has been moved back in the frame and the grip made shorter from the back edge to the trigger. This combined with a much-requested slimmer grip, and gives a much more comfortable and ergonomic feel than both the 05 and 06 Egos.
The current industry standard Dovetail rail that is used to connect the ASA to the frame has consistently proved to be the weakest link for every manufacturer out there when it comes to the durability of the system used to mount the tanks to the guns. So for that reason we have shunned the flawed design of the dovetail in favour of a T-Slot design. By using a T-shaped slide rail, as opposed to the double V of the old fashioned dovetail, the ASA-To-Frame interface has been drastically strengthened. There should be no way that a well executed dive into a bunker should dislodge the ASA now, but even if you feel you have to go and use a different ASA there is still standard mounting holes in the frame to fit your own inferior rail and ASA. But why would you want to replace it when the 07 OOPS has one of the lightest actions under gas pressure, includes a downstream dump facility, and when combined with the 07 frame has over 1.5” of fore-and-aft slide adjustment to suite virtually any length of arm and size of player?
Internals
Internally there are also some radical changes. The main difference here is the complete removal of the old rammer housing. Take a look at the rear body of the Ego7 and you will notice that it is so slim that it is, in fact, thinner than the already slimmed down frame. Using new manufacturing techniques the rammer shaft (now also shorter) runs directly in the body without a sleeve, and the new swivel QEV mounts to the bottom of the body. By removing the housing we have removed unwanted metal, and reduced the number of seals required.
And because of the way the rammer now sits in the body, we have also been able to lighten the weight of the rammer, as well as reduce the pressure needed to cycle it, and the force it is driven backwards with. Combined with a shorter, lighter bolt, the reciprocating mass has been reduced. In doing so we have managed to reduce the kick induced by the bolt and rammer cycling back and forth.
The valve guide is now much smaller, both in diameter and length, and combined with the vastly improved size of the valve chamber, the porting of the new valve guide helps lower the operating pressure to well below 250psi. This makes the new 07 the lowest operating pressure Ego ever produced. Lowering the operating pressure generates 3 noticeable benefits. It not only reduces the pressure of the gas on the paintball, and hence allow the shooting of more fragile paint, it also allows the shot to be a lot quieter and the kick to be significantly less.
In order to cope with the enlarged air passages and internal volume, the valve retaining screw has also been modified, so that the transfer port between the valve and the bolt chambers could also be increased to increase flow.
Up front there are still more changes. The FRM is now integrated into the light weight body. This makes for a lower gun profile, fewer seals, improved reliability and more sturdy construction. The small “Torpedo” between the FRM and LPR body is there to direct the LP air from the LPR to the solenoid, and is instrumental in providing a body solution that has NO Loctitied blanking plugs and NO glued in screws.
The Inline regulator is also improved. Now a swivel design as standard, the new reg incorporates a new piston design that means the main seal is locked into place. There is now no way that the seal can become detached from the piston, no matter what daily abuse is thrown at it. Again, this is a step to improve the performance and reliability of the Ego7.
In the upper tube there is the new Cure bolt, cut to blend seamlessly with the rear of the body, and provide relief from breaks caused by over-zealous force-feed loaders and fragile tournament grade paint. The Cure bolt has been proving its worth through the second half of last season with all the Eclipse sponsored teams switching to them in order to shoot the most fragile paint going. Now a standard feature in the 07, it will really come into it’s own in the colder winter months where other guns and bolts have been known to struggle.
Barrel
So not just a whole new gun for 07, but an all-new Shaft II barrel. Using a micro-honed finish and a 2 piece design, we have kept the popular and unique reverse-thread front-to-back attachment of the old Shaft, but beefed up the mating threads to allow far superior concentricity between the 2 sections. Available as standard on the 07 you will find the new Shaft II in 2-Piece, 14” and 0.693” bore guise. New milling also helps to make this one of the lightest barrels on the market.
Weight
So what about the weight? Well, let’s just say, you thought the SL66 was light, right? Well the 07 blows that out of the water. Side-by-side with a standard Maniac Ego 06, the new Ego weighs over 230grams, yes 8 OUNCES LESS. 8 OUNCES!!!
Lighter, less kick, quieter signature, more compact, fewer seals, more reliable, more performance, more features, tighter profile, better looks, more adjustability, reduced operating pressure, improved grip ergonomics, easier maintenance etc, etc, etc.
The Ego7 is not just a new milling job, it’s a revelation.

New Angel 1
Joy Division
Rage
Angel Series 1
The Angel 1’s main pneumatic advancements have been made possible by the deletion of the rechargeable battery, allowing the Angel development team to completely re-zone the Angels classic 3-bore design in to a unique hybrid chamber operating system.
The front third of the 2 lower bores have been merged in to 1 chamber, to increase the volume of gas held in the exhaust valve chamber by 65%, which significantly lowers the pressure of gas used to propel the paintball, whilst substantially improving shot to shot consistency and accuracy.
The LPR has been fully re-designed and relocated from the front to the back of the main body. The LPR chamber is 80% larger and now sits directly beneath the Angel 1’s all new custom made 3volt solenoid, to allow direct air injection of the low pressure gas into the solenoid itself.
The custom solenoid then feeds this low pressure gas directly into the Angel 1’s super smooth ram, deleting the use of gas galleries and avoiding the use of small bore hoses, that restrict the flow of gas between the LPR, Solenoid and Ram.
These 3 core advancements in layout and design deliver, sub 200 psi shot pressure, faster recharge rates and an ultra consistent cycle pressure of 55psi.
The Angel 1’s electronic control system has been re-designed to maximize its performance advantages, whilst offering the most user friendly navigation system available on any paintball marker to date. The new Angel board is packed with more features and adjustability than any aftermarket offerings, whilst it’s intuitive blackberry style navigation system and multi coloured, crystal clear OLED display, make it incredibly easy to operate. In addition to semi auto, full auto and all major tournament modes , the Angel 1 comes with a host of user programmable ramp and breakout modes as well as a self diagnostic system that ensures you are always kept informed. Electronics
The Angel 1 comes with a host of user programmable ramp and breakout modes as well as a self diagnostic system that ensures you are always kept informed. The board also features a USB port, for easy ‘at home’ software upgrades that allows you to conveniently keep your Angel 1 current with any software changes or updates.
Electronics interface
The Angel 1’s electronic control system has been designed to maximize its performance advantages, whilst offering the most user friendly navigation system available on any paintball marker to date. The new Angel board is packed with more features and adjustability than any aftermarket offerings, whilst it’s intuitive blackberry style navigation system and multi coloured, crystal clear OLED display, make it incredibly easy to operate.
Advanced Eye logic
The Angel 1 incorporates advanced eye logic that is not only able to distinguish between a paintball and a blockage, but also has the ability to detect if the blockage or malfunction has been cleared and reactivate the eyes if necessary.
Modular Eye Construction
The Lazer-eye ribbons have been separated out into two modular components. The emitter side of the break beam system is surface mounted on a custom ribbon track, while the receiver is surface mounted on another separate custom ribbon track. Should one of these components fail it can be replaced individually, reducing maintenance costs.
Pneumatics/Internals
Internally the Angel 1 has undergone a total overhaul.
The new 'Direct-fed' LPR, Solenoid and Ram assembly will redefine player’s expectations of high performance markers. This re-designed pneumatic engine has allowed the Angel 1 to benefit from significantly bigger - high and low pressure chambers which result in even better consistency and accuracy.
The Low pressure chamber is 80% bigger than in the G7.
The High pressure chamber is 65% bigger than in the G7.
The LPR itself, has increased porting and greatly improved flow, feeding the redesigned low-pressure chamber which now sits DIRECTLY beneath the 6th generation, custom solenoid - giving even faster recharge rates. This means that the forces working on the super smooth and almost friction-free ram are reduced even more, further improving the Angels legendary gas efficiency.
Custom Built Solenoid
The Angel 1 incorporates the 6th generation of custom built Angel solenoids. Since 2001 WDP have been working with the world’s leading Solenoid manufacturers to ensure that the Angel 1 combines cutting edge performance with unsurpassed reliability. The solenoid used in the Angel 1 is by far the smallest and fastest cycling solenoid used to date and incorporates additional exhaust porting to allow gas to escape quickly, ensuring the fastest possible cycling speeds.
Low Pressure Regulator (LPR)
The LPR has been fully re-designed and relocated from the front to the back of the main body. The LPR chamber is 80% larger and now sits directly beneath the Angel 1’s all new custom made 3volt solenoid, to allow direct air injection of the low pressure gas into the solenoid itself.
Internal Volume Chamber
The Angel 1 internals have been completely re designed. The front third of the 2 lower bores have been merged in to 1 chamber, to increase the volume of gas held in the exhaust valve chamber by 65%, which significantly lowers the pressure of gas used to propel the paintball, this increase facilitates unsurpassed consistency from shot to shot as the % of gas drawn from the shot chamber on each activation is reduced. The Angel 1 literally stores 3-4 shots of pre-regulated air within the shot chamber meaning fluctuations in tank output pressure are not transmitted into the marker. This much improved consistency results in even better accuracy during high rates of fire.
In-line regulator
The Angel series 1 utilizes a high flow, in-line regulator that is housed within an ergonomically sculpted 3D fore grip. The in-line reg uses aluminum pistons to increase performance and to also save weight. The internal cartridge assembly can be easily removed from the fore grip housing for maintenance or quick replacement if required.
Rubber Detents
The Angel 1 utilizes 2 durable rubber finger detents to prevent double feeds and to help prevent force fed loaders pushing more than one ball at a time into the breach area.
New Angel Bolt – Introducing ‘Ball Kiss’ Technology
The Angel 1’s bolt has been fully redesigned and is now moulded from high grade polymer acetyl, rather than machined. This improves consistency and allows for an increase in the size of the porting and a reduction in wall thickness along the entire length of the bolt. The bolt insert has been moulded in glass re-enforced nylon rather than aluminum to further reduce weight and also improve on consistency. This bolt insert creates anti-turbulence in the gas blast to ensure the most efficient use of the gas possible.
The re-engineered materials used in the Angel 1’s bolt make it a full 50% lighter than those used in previous Angels.
The bolt also incorporates a small angled face located directly under the feed tube to aid in the reduction of ball breaks associated with clipping balls in the feed stack. This is more common with smaller sized paintballs or low quality miss shaped paintballs. The chamfered lip of the bolt gently pushes the second ball up and out of harms way so that the bolt can travel freely without the risks of clipping any additional ball that may be waiting in the feed stack.
Size and Weight
The Angel 1’s size and weight have been significantly reduced without compromising the design and performance features that discerning Angel owners have become so accustomed to.
A total design process has resulted in every single internal part being engineered to create the Angel 1‘s complete performance package.
The Angel 1’s main pneumatic advancements have been made possible by the deletion of the rechargeable battery, allowing the Angel development team to completely re-zone the Angel’s classic 3-bore design in to a unique hybrid chamber operating system.
Size
The Angel 1 is 7.2 Inches (183mm) Long and 8.6 Inches (219mm) high.
Giving it the smallest profile of any high end marker available.
Weight
The Angel 1 weighs 35 oz (990g) including battery/ASA/Regulator
and 38.8oz (1100g) with it’s 'Feather-Lite' 2 piece step bore ported barrel.
Every internal component has been reduced in weight. The materials used in their construction have been especially chosen to deliver maximum weight saving benefits without compromising or sacrificing any of the Angels legendary build quality or performance.
Balance
The size and weight of the Angel 1 have been dramatically reduced whilst retaining its ability to be comfortably held around the foregrip. In conjunction with its NEW slimline gripframe the Angel’s perfectly balanced and stable shooting platform has been further enhanced, giving the user ultimate control and flexibility. Whether you are laning or snap shooting with either the right or left hand, high rates of fire and accuracy can be effortlessly achieved.
Swing-out Rotobreach
One of the Angel’s instantly recognizable features is its unique Rotorbreech system. The Rotorbreech provides quick and easy access to the bolt and breech area. The Angels fully enclosed operating system keeps unwanted dirt or debris out of the firing mechanism, helping to reduce wear and tear caused by the unwanted presence of foreign bodies/debris within the mechanism, a common cause of inconsistency.
However delicate your marker may be on paint, periodically you will get 1 bad/cold/wet/swollen ball enter your marker to cause you problems. Being able to remove the bolt and gain access to the breech area for cleaning while on the field is vital, no matter what.
Triple Finger Trigger Guard
While the rest of the Angel 1 has been reduced in size, the spacious trigger guard has been retained. Players can easily fit 3 fingers into the guard if necessary, in order to achieve insane rates of fire.
QR Feed
The low rise feed on the Angel 1 incorporates an adjustable QR (quick release) clamping lever lock mechanism allowing the user to fine tune the locking mechanism to ensure a snug fit between the gun and the loader, it also ensures that the loader can be swiftly and easily removed if required no matter what brand of loader is being used.
Thinner grip frame
The standard 45 frame used on the Angel 1 has been slimmed down from 0.86” (21.95mm), to a far lighter and thinner 0.70” (17.80mm) to give the player increased comfort and control. The frame also has an integrated dove tail mounting rail as well as industry standard 10/32unf mounting holes for ultimate flexibility.
ASA
The Angel 1 comes complete with a centrally proted and fully adjustable dove-tail mounted air system adaptor (ASA). Like all things on the Angel 1 the size and weight of the ASA has been reduced as much as possible and with its central porting the Angel 1 is just as comfortable for right and left hand shooting. The ASA also functions as an easy bleed on/off.
9v Super Charged Angel Battery
By using advanced software logic and electronic components incorporating voltage stabilizers, the Angel 1 is able to achieve over 300,000 shots from a single 9v battery. The ‘Angel Power’ 9v battery comes as standard with the marker, which will exceed Duracell 9v’s in both power-output and life-span.
4 Point Trigger Adjustment
The trigger can be adjusted in 4 ways to give players maximum control over their trigger dynamic, the most personal aspect of any marker. Players can adjust the front travel and back stop positions as on most other high-end paintball markers. In addition to this, the point within the stroke at which the trigger will activate is also adjustable, as is the strength at which the trigger will return at, by controlling the attraction forces that operate within the trigger mechanism. This delivers ultimate control and infinite options when setting up the Angels trigger.
MROF
Angels have always had the reputation as being the fastest guns in town and the Angel 1 is no exception. In addition to having an adjustable MROF range from 10bps to 31bps, we now offer an unlimited MROF setting. The Angel 1’s 30+ bps performance is unmatched by any other paintball marker available. Period.

Low Profile Positive-Grip Friction Feedneck – The Epiphany Feedneck is equipped with internal o-rings that give it a positive grip on a wide variety of loader neck sizes. Its solid aluminum construction gives it the durability needed for serious paintball competitors.
Integrated Air Rail - The Epiphany grip’s integrated rail system allows standard dovetail air system accessories to mount directly to the grip frame or use traditional inline mounting screws.
Rail Mounted on/off ASA - Positive air system control means longer o-ring and solenoid life for screw in gas supplies. The easy to clean and rebuild design of the Smart Parts on/off ASA means a lifetime of reliable operation. The integral dovetail mount matches perfectly to the Epiphany grip frame’s integrated air system rail for solid, adapter free mounting.
Standard Barrel Threads – The Epiphany uses the Smart Parts standard barrel thread found on the Shocker NXT, Impulse, Nerve, Ion and SP-8.
Strengths From Its Heritage – The Epiphany is not a replacement for the Ion, it is an advancement of the Ion design philosophy into a new higher performance marker, this means it also has the best features from the Ion:
• Seal Forward Technology – This Smart Parts innovation places the breech seal o-ring in the breech instead of on the bolt, providing a perfect seal against blowback without producing rate of fire limiting bolt-drag.
• True Electropneumatic Design – Just like the original Ion, and all of the Smart Parts lineup, the Epiphany is built on a true electropneumatic design. A precision, fast acting solenoid valve drives the bolt and valve system for unbeatably quick operation with minimal vibration.
• Simple 9-volt Powered Operation – Because of the very low power consumption that true electropneumatic operation provides, the Epiphany's electronics are able to achieve a long operating life from a standard 9-volt alkaline battery.
• 17+ BPS Performance – The standard Epiphany circuit board will deliver rates up to 17 balls per second, while the Blackheart and aftermarket boards can take it to 20 and beyond.
• Most Ion and Epiphany assemblies are interchangeable. Ion owners can upgrade to Epiphany performance by replacing their circuit board, hoses, regulator spring and fire chamber.

New Warrior Ion SL trigger
Specs:
The New Warrior SL Ion trigger is made by players, for players. This is one of the lightest and most comfortable triggers on the market and will get you those insane rates of fire. The trigger is named the SL trigger because of the super light weight aluminum design. This trigger is about half the weight of any standard aluminum Ion trigger and is easily installed. The trigger has two cuts on the face of the trigger to reduce weight, one behind the face of the trigger, one behind the magnet, and one into the bottom of the trigger. The strategic hole placements have drastically reduced the weight of the trigger and with it installed on your Ion you will really see what your marker can do. This trigger is compatible with all Ion and SP8 markers. You can also adjust the amount of magnetic return by moving the frame height adjustment screw.
Features:
-Super Light Weight Aluminum Design
-Magnet Installed
-Fits All Ion/SP8 Markers
-Easy To Install
-Easy To Adjust

New Alien Independence Paintball Marker
"That's the new Alien marker, the Independence. Alien is clearly trying to make markers that look as good as they shoot, which the Interceptor and Remains definately do not accomplish in most peoples' eyes. The internals are the same, which is a good thing, although it has more volume and better flow for lower pressure and better consistency.
It addresses most of the major complaints of previous Alien markers:
-The bushy/impulse feedneck threads are no more, replaced by a fully integrated feedneck that is milled into the body. Aftermarker feedneck collars can give it lever-lock functionality if you like that.
-The old, difficult to adjust, "double" style trigger is gone, replaced by an externally-adjustable Critical brand trigger, apparently raze style.
-The It looks like it uses rubber grips instead of aluminum panels, I'm not sure about that one.
-and obviously, the looks."

Redz Ion Body Kit
The Smart Parts Ion body kits all tend to look the same to me, but the Redz kit actually looks pretty cool. Info from Redz:
REDZ ANNOUNCES A NEW ION® BODY CONVERSION KIT
Medford, NJ – Redz International announces the creation of a brand new three-piece body kit for the Smart Parts Ion®. This new body kit is not just a one-piece body, but a total aesthetic conversion for the Ion®, with a new body, a front regulator shroud, and a new, highly styled, 45-degree grip.
The body kit was made using specifications supplied by Smart Parts for reliability and the truest fit possible to the Ion’s internals and frame. Made of durable composite materials, Redz ensured that the well-known light weight of the Smart Parts Ion® would remain intact. The regulator shroud was designed to not just change the looks, but enhance comfort when holding the marker for longer periods of time. Finally, Redz designed a new 45 degree grip that is a work of art in and of itself, sporting Redz’ “Rip-Stripe” reference design for 2007. All three parts completely change the look of the Ion.
The Ion® Body Conversion Kit is one of two comprehensive groups of upgrades that Redz International has created for Ion® markers. Other upgrades include the already-well-known Triggerz, ASAs with Railz, Cam-Lock feed necks, Pepper Stickz Barrels, and the Redz Ion® Boltz.
Carmen “The Angry” Borgia added, “The guys down in Development bought an Ion soon after it came out, for testing. We started making our Hard Partz for it, and after we put our aftermarket parts in there and put a Pepper Stick on it, it didn’t even feel like it was an Ion® anymore. Now, with the body kit, it barely resembles the Ion’s® original form too. The Ion® is a fine marker that has already hit the stratosphere in terms of its performance-per-dollar. Now Redz is propelling the Ion® even further, straight out of the sky and into space.”
The Ion Body Conversion Kit will be available very soon, in four colors: red, black, blue, and olive.

Empire E-Vent paintball goggles
The Vents Goggle System is a new, low profile goggle system designed to present the minimum target possible while being soft and flexible for comfort and to help keep you in the game by glancing/bouncing paintballs. The soft faceplate of the "top model" is re-enforced by a flexible yet strong mouth guard which allows the front of the mask to flex on impact, but stops full paintballs from passing through or lifting it up, and thus protects your lips and mouth. The "mid model" has a more rigid one-piece faceplate, which still maintains a flexible area in front of your mouth for protection.
Features include:
* Removable soft ear pieces
* Low profile faceplate
* Advanced optically correct lens
* Lens quick release system
* Ability to add a visor or brow shield without the use of tools
* High Quality strap with silicon beading to help keep the mask firmly on your head
* Includes 1 Smoke Thermal and 1 Clear Thermal Lens

Dye 07 Rhino Tank Cover
The new Dye Rhino covers for 2007 look a little busy, but I'm sure it's with good purpose. All of those fins should be pretty good for wiping your hands clean of paint.

2007 Macdev Cyborg
As expected, MacDev designers have been working on a 2007 model of the Cyborg marker. The 07 Cyborg is tentatively set for release in December 2006, or early January 2007.
Designers have released a list of extra features that they intend to work into the 07 Cyborg:
A reduction in overall marker height
Increased milling/lighter body
Increased speed
07 spec electronic hardware and software
07 Gladiator
New solenoid
07 spec detents
07 spec LPR
07 RED valve
Clearly, designers expect the 07 Cyborg to be lighter, smaller and faster than previous models. It will also have some improved functionality and reliability with new regulators, solenoid and electronics.
The 07 Cyborg will include more features and workmanship than previous model Cyborgs, it will also be packaged with more accessories. For this reason, it is expected that the cost of the 07 Cyborg will be higher than previous Cyborg models.
A definite release date for the 07 Cyborg will be determined as design/production permits.
